AND REVELATION HEALTH
First, it may be helpful if I go back in time and give you the background of my journey to taking back my brain. I was bulimic from the age of 11 to 22 due to numerous issues and what I now understand was a brain chemistry deficiency as well as food allergies.

As a young girl, I was addicted to what I was allergic too and my body was completely depleted in many ways.

I began my college career in nursing school, but dropped out in my 3rd year due to depression and eating disorder. I really hated life. My psychiatric nursing professor tried to help me get into a couple in-patient eating disorder programs, but because I wasn’t suicidal and severely underweight (which bulimics normally are not underweight), I could not be admitted.

I ended up in the ER several times, passed out numerous times and even had seizures a couple times when I had taken too many laxatives and created an imbalance in my electrolytes. I really was a mess. Then this same caring professor sent me an article about Amino Acid Therapy by a woman named Julia Ross and so began my journey to wellness.

I contacted Julia’s clinic and made a week-long appointment to be part of their outpatient clinic in Mill Valley, CA. I learned about brain chemistry and neurotransmitter depletion and that I had celiac disease, yeast issues and so much more.

Most importantly, I learned that I had hope, that God had provided a way for me to live and live abundantly. I left the clinic excited, freaked out and not sure how to deal with life without my coping mechanism of bulimia. Guess what, it worked!
